Archer is a beginning agility-based job with magic arrows and the ability to prepare powerful charged strikes.  They also gain the ability to summon animals as they level, culminating in a named companion.

Level Effect Increases Damage and Time Spent Charging Up
Charge Attack stores energy to release into an attack when used again. Use once to start charging; use again to release. The charge can be held for up to 3 turns at ability level 1; each additional ability level allows you to charge for an extra round (in addition to the standard effect of increasing the damage of the skill). You do not deal melee attacks while charging, but the final attack does more damage the more melee attacks you would have dealt with your main weapon. While charging up, you take slightly less damage from enemies.
