Positive Status EffectsEdit

Effect Description
Beast Increases physical attack power.
Bubble Increases maximum HP by 50%.
Dragon Force Increases physical and magical attack power by an amount based on your level.
Focus Increases magical attack power.
Haste Increases number of melee attacks per round.
Mighty Guard Reduces physical and magical damage taken by an amount based on your level.
Permanence Prevents beneficial effects from being dispelled by enemies, but does not prevent effects from wearing off naturally.
Praise Increases physical attack power by a percentage.
Preach Increases magical attack power by a percentage.
Protect Reduces physical damage taken.
Reflect Reflects most magic spells cast at you onto the enemy.
Regen Gradually heals HP every few rounds by an amount based on max HP.
Refresh Gradually heals MP every few rounds by an amount based on max MP.
Refreshment Casts Esuna every few rounds.
Shell Reduces magical damage taken.
Veil Improved chance to avoid incoming status affliction.

Negative Status EffectsEdit

Effect Description
Berserk Prevents secondary abilities from being used and prevents movement, but increases attack power.
Blind Reduces melee accuracy.
Curse Reduces all damage dealt and increases physical damage taken.
Dischord Halves level, which lowers resistance to other ailments and resistable effects, and decreases most non-weapon-based damage.
Don't Act (DA) Prevents any action from being taken in combat.
Don't Move (DM) Prevents any movement.
Engulf Gradually lowers HP every round by a small amount.
HP Leak Gradually lowers HP every round by a small amount.
Imp Prevents most abilities from being used, increases physical damage taken, reduces all damage dealt
Imperil Lowers elemental damage resistances
Mini (Small) Increases physical damage taken and reduces physical damage dealt.
Petrify Inflict three times in a row to stop combat and prevent all damage.
Poison

Gradually lowers HP every few rounds by an amount based on max HP.
Silence Prevents magical abilities from being used.
Sleep Prevents any action or movement, can be broken by melee attacks.
Slow Reduces number of melee attacks per round.
Stop Prevents any action or movement. (This usually means Don't Act & Don't Move together)
Trouble Causes your allies to take damage equal to 1/4 of any damage you take.
Zombie Causes curative effects to deal damage instead.
  1. Poison is also an Element. Any resistances to Poison affects the damage done by Poison as well as the hit rate of the Status Effect.

Defensive Equipment EffectsEdit

-proof Nullifies chance to be inflicted by Status Effect.
Auto- Automatically grants the effects of the Status Effect. Cannot be dispelled.
SOS Automatically grants the effects of the Status Effect while below 50% HP. Cannot be dispelled.

Offensive Equipment EffectsEdit

-touch Gives a chance on melee attack to inflict Status Effect
