An incarnation of the First Contact sealed in the End of Time.                      For a single player level 110 and up.

Grahf, the Seeker of Power, a nearly immortal being who has the ability to pass from body to body, has spent ages in search of a way to revive his so-called "god" so that it may annihilate all life.  Defeat him, and take his power unto yourself, though it may lead only to madness and destruction.  Grahf's "gear," a large robot he pilots called Alpha Weltall, is as old as he is, and he cannot be damaged while he is inside it.

Grahf drops a variety of extremely powerful equipment when killed.  There are ten different items total; one of these is a cyborg-specific item and will not drop for other races.  One randomly-chosen item will be dropped by Grahf, which cannot be traded to other players.  Be sure not to leave the room without picking up the item - you will not be allowed back in.

Grahf may only be killed once per reboot.

This is a solo battle.  It is not possible to party with other players.

Strategy[]

The fight against Grahf has two bosses, though you will only fight against one at a time. Grahf's robot, Alpha Weltall, is extremely durable and attempting to kill it is not recommended. Every time Alpha Weltall uses an ability, its fuel will drain. When Alpha Weltall's fuel is insufficient to use another attack, the robot will turn off and Grahf will emerge and fight you. Killing Grahf will end the fight.

Alpha Weltall has four attacks it can use. The attack "Building Strike" will deal minor damage and enable Alpha to use a strong attack next turn. It can build up to L3 before it can no longer build anymore. Alpha can use L3, L2, and L1 Deathblows which deal higher damage, and decreases Alpha's attack level by 1. For example if Alpha uses Building Strike three times in a row, it will increase to L1, L2, and then L3. Then, it will attack using L3 Deathblow. It can either use L2 Deathblow or another Building Strike after that. The higher level attacks consume more Fuel. Alpha's Fuel is displayed every turn.

Alpha Weltall starts with 2,000 Fuel. Building strike consumes 30. L1 Deathblow consumes 50. L2 Deathblow consumes 90. L3 Deathblow consumes 140.

For the Alpha Weltall phase, all you need to do is survive. For lower level players, it is recommended to cast Protect/Shell and then heal yourself every turn. Outlast Alpha's Fuel and you will then get to fight Grahf.

Grahf has very low max HP but can deal significant damage. Grahf will either Dispel your buffs, cast a strong attacking spell (super guided shot), or recover Alpha's Fuel. If Alpha's Fuel gets too high (often times 2 or 3 casts), he will enter Alpha again and resume the first phase of the fight.

For this phase of the fight, you should try to kill Grahf as fast as possible due to his extremely low max HP, and since allowing him to survive for long enough will result in him re-activating Alpha, prolonging the fight and potentially running you out of SP. For Agility characters, automatic attacks may be sufficient to kill him before he re-enters Alpha.

If you can't survive an attack without Protect/Shell, be prepared to re-apply your buffs when he dispels you. Alternatively, use some source of Permanence (for example from Trainer) to prevent his Dispel entirely.

Grahf inflicts no statuses and is vulnerable to no statuses.

For extremely high level players, you may choose to kill Alpha Weltall instead of waiting for it to run out of Fuel. In this case, Grahf will exit Alpha and fight you as soon as Alpha is killed.

You can additionally inflict Don't Act on Alpha to make Grahf emerge earlier. This will cause Alpha Weltall to use Booster, which increases its attack, so it's recommended to only do this if you can kill Grahf in one cycle.

Despite the help file saying that the fight is for players level 110 and above, most characters will be able to comfortably kill Grahf at level 100 or earlier. It is highly recommended that you use 2 Tough Ring accessories to boost your HP high enough to survive Grahf's attacks.
